Will Talent give you the extra Mile?

Photo Courtesy of  www.rc-businessmaster.com So you think you can dance, Idols, America Has got talent, America’s best dance crew and the list goes on and on... the search for the very best of the best-  We have seen the educated and the the gifted go head to head to win the heart of the judges and the fans.  Recently, I had the privilege of being behind the scenes as two designers, Abe and Bruno both presented their impressive portfolios at an interview to see who will be the Go Creations next creative intern. When I first took a peek at Mr Abe’s portfolio , I was simply blown away! You could tell he put much thought into the work. The illustrations, were carefully sketched, pen and paper fused angelically as if to mimic the actual object.  The drawing was of a young Kenyan boy, with soft skin and a roughness that only the trained human eye could catch, there was so much emotion into the sketched picture an intuition of a kind, that vividly expressed his sen

Do designs add value to the brand of an organization?

Is there perhaps a relationship between a Brand and the design element in it?  Do designs play any role in the overall perception of your product or service?  It is said that a brand is only as good as its fundamental practicality.  A great design is created by, developing a significant shape that conforms to the reality of the brand i.e , its value, integrity and its underlying meaning and functionality. Great designs institute Positive perceptions by potential and current customers. The brand perception will ultimately be affected by the distinct image built, not just illogical images, but designs which are meaningful and those that people will identify with. Any design built to enhance a brand has to be practical, momentous, and of the same quality it represents. Design enables a Brand to adopt a customized approach to their products through Individuality by creating a wide variety of processes, structuring them to meet an individual’s customers own satisfaction. The face

The essence of design is to bring out the visual appearance of any product or service. A great design elevates a product, polishes its facade and ultimately makes it more visible. A great design is indeed the face of the product or service. Presentation is the appeal that goes against all norms, it instructs the mind to perceive a product as being dull or great.  The face is the mental perception, the first instinct on congeniality. This is to say, a human face was built to create an impact that captures your identity. Without it we would probably have no memory or emotions to instruct us. Everything would be so dull, no expression of love, happiness, anger, just a dormant body without mood!

Power of Unique Designs

Recently, I found myself trudging into an evening full of live music, trying to wave my head vertically to the band playing across the hall. I was swayed into the room by the array of designs that sat at the entrance of the tiny concert. It was a great series of posters, well displayed.  Colors splashed artistically, as if to convey a written message, perhaps the lyrics to the floating melody peering through my ears. I could tell that the designer was a creative, an out of the box kind of person. He put a lot of thought into the strange paintings, a wave of paint cascading from corner to corner. It was a beautiful piece of art , a unique design, a stroke of genius, full of wild imagination that resonated with the distant evening music.

Last Twin

Photo courtesy of Ilona Wellmann I met his twin.  Well, he was Tall, just like him.  Facial resemblance, so similar and clear. He had the rugged look, the sort of unpreparedness that characterized a man. He was odd . H is hands always parading in the air. He held an awkwardness that set him apart from the rest.  I was studying him like an endangered specie. Pride was ranking high in his personality triangle.  His 'soft' spoken nature a mirage of the hardness of his heart. The wall he built around him, the seclusion he commanded and the fangs he sharpened proclaimed his domineering nature. He dominated and lashed back at the emptiness of any voice. I walked away knowing he would never be like him.
