Broken

Time has stood still, abandoned me as i drop down to my knee.
My heart has sunk so deep...
I am in pain.
Those razor sharp words stabbed me in the back.
I am back to where i started, I see the day, i see the night, i see where we parted.
I hear the rudeness of their voices, and yet i smile with no choice.
They hunted, chased until i stopped, i wanted for all this to come to a winning halt.
They left me drowning in their gossip, and they filled you instead with their chatter and sour hearts.
You gave up so easy, and ran towards the start, that brought the time so still.
I've soaked in the sun, baked with time, i would have given up all the fun, all the drinks with lime ,just to have you as mine.
The truth is i will be just fine!
Go on, i will remember you still.

The Psychology of Man

Photo courtesy of  Advancedcognitivepsychology I found one of those ' Sacred   books '.  This book was special. The cover was not the 'usual' women's books. The kind that greets you with shiny sprinkled flowers and screaming pink petals. No, t he cover was a Man .   He stood there with his sassy smile, plain and simple, notably exhibiting signs that he was the author.  He dared me intuitively to open this condensed book, pages slightly below my usual huge feminine reams.  The opening statement was carefully crafted and i had a sudden cognitive urge to quickly flip through the book.... My oh my! the minute i got tagged onto the intro, I knew i was going to read this entire book!   Let's say it took me the whole day, to flip, gnaw, criticize, but yes i did it...read and got disturbed!  So this is dedicated to our girlfriends-sisters out there, who have been urging me to let this canon loose...! ...

Bitter sweet

photo courtesy of  Natural healing Looking back, the menacing treacherous schemes, planned in a sequence, to make the attack. It started like a joke, we laughed throughout  holding our coke,  gulping it down our throat, if only we knew, we would get a choke. painful, burning!

To the Departed

Photo courtesy of  dreamstime   I wrote a letter held my pen to the paper. It brought new meaning, a great new feeling. Faces lit up, mouths gaped wide. It was evident that this message I carried, this thought of words was eagerly awaited. It's amazing how each one of them, felt her impact, the desire to fulfill her legacy.  The hearts that were touched.  I did not expect them to laugh so sincerely, chuckle with a tinge of tears drooling down their dusted cheekbones. They wrinkled with laughter, my smile backing theirs. We were honored to celebrate her, to praise her soaring spirit. I was proud to speak my mind, tell it like it is. Plain and simple the way she lived her life.
